Another time we had a larger dog – half German shepherd and half whippet – I know – dainty feet. We had the last unit in the row at a motel and snuck Lucky in and told her to be very quiet and stay on her bed which was in the bathroom – she did shed. Next morning while I was having a shower Lucky had taken over and spread herself across the double bed – as they do – and was snuffling into the pillows.
